Welcome to Kitty’s Cottage
Kittys Cottage is a renovated traditional Irish cottage set in a picture postcard setting just outside the small village of Doochary in Co Donegal. The cottage lies just south west of the magnificent Glenveagh National Park and the Derryveagh Mountain range provide a spectacular backdrop to the holiday home. The Gweebarra – a renowned fishing river – flows through rugged terrain just 200 metres behind the cottage.
The cottage has been built on the site of an old Irish farm cottage with the exterior kept very close to the original design. The traditional half door leads you into a bright modern cottage that provides comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people. The main living area has a high ceiling which gives a wonderful sense of space to the area. There are 3 bedrooms – 2 doubles and a bedroom with bunk beds. The stylish kitchen and dining area enjoys wonderful views towards the Derryveagh Mountains.

Our weekend break was much needed and Kitty's Cottage was perfect. It was peaceful and quiet. Excellent facilities! The cottage was immaculate and well equipped. My 6 year old son wanted to move in. He and our dog loved the garden. Whilst eating breakfast on Sunday morning we were treated to Santa's reindeer walking past in the fields outside. Such an exciting thing for our son just before Christmas. Kathleen was just a message away. We will definitely be back!

Loved our short stay here. Such peaceful and beautiful scenery! The freedom to let our dogs (and kids) out without worry as it was fully enclosed is brilliant. Our son loved the little stream in the garden.
